Due the ongoing impact of Covid-19 we have decided to cancel the Ground School theory class planned for 25 April as well as the Ground School practical on 10 May. Our intention is to reschedule both events once the impact of this Crisis has abated.
Greetings fellow Rennsporters,
As the weather starts to warm up our thoughts usually start to think about upcoming club events, but our 2020 season will be a bit different. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 virus will impact our 2020 season.
The Rennsport executive and all the various organizing committees have been following all the latest developments. At this point the governments of Ontario and Quebec are banning all indoor and outdoor gatherings until mid April at the earliest. As soon as it is safely possible, our goal will be to run our outdoor events and re-evaluate our indoor events. These events will be adapted to follow all the latest COVID-19 public health guidelines.
Until further notice all regular scheduled indoor club activities like monthly dinners and breakfast meetings have been put on hold.
Stay well, and we will be back in touch with new information as soon as possible

PCA and most driving clubs, recommend the use of current SNELL SA rated Helmets or their equivalent BSI and SFI counterparts. SNELL certifications are for a ten-year period. Unfortunately, several manufacturers are experiencing delays in producing SNELL certified 2020 helmets and are on back order. Therefore this will be the last season for SNELL SA and SM 2010 helmets. This rule is applicable to all PCA regional driving events.
As of 2021, ONLY SNELL and 2015-2020 or their equivalent BSI and SFI certified helmets will be permitted.
For the Rennsport 2020 DE season, each driver participating in the Drivers Education program must wear a helmet meeting the following Safety Helmet Standards:
At the first event attended in the 2020 season, and all subsequent events, you are requested to bring your Helmet to the Tech Line for inspection. A Sticker will be affixed to indicate your helmet meets requirements for 2020 and future DE events.
